 Cardiff Advice I really want to visit Cardiff and hopefully move there when I am older and I was wondering if people have visited there or live there and have any opinions on it ?

Re: Cardiff Advice I adore Cardiff, have since the first time I ever went there. For me it's being near the water, I just love the different senses I get from it. I have to admit to not being crazy about the centre of town at night though. But I am not really a night person so I could easily avoid it. Have wanted to move to Cardiff for a while now and that is my plan when I finish my degree. However, I recently visited Penarth and fell in love with that place too. Really close to Cardiff centre, short, cheap train ride, and appears to be cheaper rent.

Re: Cardiff Advice I went to Cardiff for a short holiday this year. It is a great town and very vibrant with lots happening. It was just before the first Test Match. We went to the castle to Twelfth Night - open air!
We had gorgeous weather which is always a bonus. It does rain in Cardiff and in fact all of Wales. That is why it is so green.

Re: Cardiff Advice As someone who lives in Cardiff (when shes not at Uni) I have to say it is the most amazing place I've ever been. Words cannot describe it, you really have to just go there.
But then again I'm really biased because my boyfriend is there and the Bay could possibly be my favourite place on earth.
Guh. Now I'm homesick.

Re: Cardiff Advice I really really want to live in Cardiff!!! Im hoping to get a place in the bay area, just down the road from the millenium center!! (Literally 2 mins walk, but the estate agent hasnt got back to me  ) I have family dotted around everywhere (Closet ones would be in Wiltshire then Stafford) so it wouldnt be too bad for me but i think i would still feel quite homesick despite previously living at college for 4 years! I just have to get rid of the useless lump of a boyfriend first!
