Torchwood is a British science fiction and crime drama created by Russell T. Davies and starring John Barrowman and Eve Myles. It deals with the machinations and activities of the fictional Torchwood Institute.
Torchwood is a spin-off from the long-running science fiction series Doctor Who. The title "Torchwood" is an anagram of "Doctor Who". The name was used as the "codename" for the new series of Dr Who while filming its first few episodes and on the "rushes" tapes to ensure they were not
intercepted.
It follows the Wales branch "Torchwood Three" of a covert agency called
Torchwood which investigates extra-terrestrial incidents on Earth and
also scavenges alien technology for human use. To paraphrase Torchwood
Threes commander-in-chief, Captain Jack Harkness, the organisation is
beyond the government, the police, and the United Nations. Torchwood was formed in 1879 by the royal decree of Queen Victoria. The public
simply knows them as "special ops" and nothing more.

London film and comic con-Met Loads of doctor who stars

Went to london film and comic con a few weeks back. Was brillant. Met Georgia Moffatt, Peter Davidson,Sylvester Mccoy and Christian Cooke. Also went to a Patrick Stewart talk.
Here is my adventures. Pics at the end

Met up with best friend Pauline and made our way to Earls court.We paid our money and went in and first of all got our tickets for Patrick Stewart talk. We really didn't think we would. but luckily we did. We then got our photoshoot tickets for Georgia Moffatt and were jumping up and down.
We then made our way to the autograph place to get our virtual tickets for Peter Davidson. John Hurt was there as well as well as loads of other film and tv stars. Once we got them, it was time for the Georgia photoshoot. We made our way over and handed our bags in. We were one of the first to go in. She is quite short person. It was soon my turn to go up and she asked me how I was and also said she loved the t-shirt and gave me a wink when ...
